The stories we tell literally make the world. If you want to change the world, you need to change your story.
Michael Margolis, film producer
Chris is proud to have worked with some exceptional people and businesses over the past 35 years.

He's the best in the business.
Chris was the creative director and genius behind the ITV Commercial story for well over a decade, delivering smart, thoughtful and entertaining stories for some of the biggest stages in the industry: from boardrooms, conferences and city analyst calls to the London Palladium and the Royal Festival Hall. He's helped me personally sharpen up my narrative, presentation and public speaking as well as supporting the team with shaping pitches, launches, awards and events. He's also brilliant at building a strong culture, team spirit and togetherness.

Chris just gets it.
He understands how to take a story or message, and make it engaging, captivating, and unforgettable for an audience. I’ve worked alongside him on many events now, and everything he’s put together has always been full of energy and a pleasure to be a part of. He’s a delight to work with, and I’m looking forward to our next event.

Excellent strategic thinker and doer.
Chris is an excellent strategic thinker and doer who understands brand and advertising effectiveness and how to tell stories in a clear and visually compelling way. He has an enthusiastic and collaborative mindset and has been especially helpful to Campaign, presenting at our events about the power of television and giving awards masterclasses about how to write and produce winning entries.

He's a rare soul!
Chris brings wit and charm with an eagle eye for what makes an engaging and credible sales pitch, winning business worth tens of million of pounds, and making a material difference to ITV's commercial success.
Before Chris joined, ITV had only won one Media Week Award. Under his steer, ITV became the most awarded media owner in the UK, achieving over 60 Golds, and winning Sales Team of the Year four out of the last eight years.

He certainly sharpened my story, the flow, and the tone.
And the impact of course – that’s the important bit. Chris has great ways of engaging the room and I felt like I learnt a lot – even though I have been an experienced presenter. I’d definitely use him if you have an important meeting coming up!

A pivotal consultant for Nano.
Chris has been a pivotal consultant for Nano over the past few months, leveraging his extensive experience to propel our storytelling and rejuvenate our sales pitch process. His influence has been transformative, highlighted by his leadership at our sales kick-off conference earlier this year. He has consistently engaged with both our team as a whole and with individuals, enhancing their confidence and mastery in delivering the Nano story in a manner that is both personalised and compelling. We are excited to continue our collaboration with Chris on several upcoming projects, aiming to extend this momentum into our credentials deck and strategic positioning efforts.

A remarkable person to work with.
Chris possesses that rare gift of having outstanding creativity and an ability to create exceptional commercial content with integrity. He and I worked closely for six years and he was as much a valued and trusted part of my team as my own Producer. He helped me create many award winning high concept ideas and new revenue streams. Our long-running ‘One Last Dream’ national competition is a perfect example. He manages to keep both the talent and clients super-served, and if I could clone what he has I’d be very rich.

I worked very closely with Chris...
...and was always hugely impressed by his programming acumen. He always worked relentlessly to understand the programming teams objectives whilst balancing that with the clients needs. Chris was always outstanding in his regular dealings with the talent, who had complete trust in him. He’s very creative, a great salesman and a genuine pleasure to work with. I’d rate Chris in his field as second to none.

I've never worked with anyone as commercially creative as Chris.
I worked with Chris for over 3 years at Virgin Radio and he was responsible for all our S&P output. Business books talk about getting the right people on the right bus and (crucially) in the right seats. I felt that Chris's skills were absolutely aligned to his role. As a result of his input and influence, we won many pitches and many awards and he was a pivotal part of the team. Clients get excited by ideas and he was full of them, but he also knew how to work with the internal stakeholders to make the ideas come to life.

I was lucky enough to spend a week with Chris...
Over ten years ago I was lucky enough to spend a week with Chris preparing for a pitch for the Media Week Sales Team of the Year. We won that award. And the preparation and process to develop that pitch is still one of the highlights of my 25 year career. At the time I was a technologist and only just starting out in public speaking. To this day, I still channel the confidence and storytelling skills that Chris awoke in me every time I present.
